CHARLOTTE, N.C. (August 22, 2023) – Search Solution Group is proud to announce that one of their very own, Megan Purdee, has been recognized for her unwavering spirit, dedication, and tenacity with a nomination for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation’s esteemed STANDOUT program.
The STANDOUT program honors individuals making an exceptional difference in the cystic fibrosis (CF) community, whether they are patients, caregivers, advocates, or researchers. Megan’s dedication and commitment to raising awareness and support for the CF community truly embodies the values and mission of our organization and this esteemed award.
To support STANDOUT and the broader CF community, Purdee has launched a fundraising campaign with the goal of raising $5,000, and Search Solution Group will be matching donations up to $1,500 in support of Megan and all her hard work. All proceeds will directly contribute to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation’s crucial research, care, and advocacy initiatives.
“Because of foundations like this, raising awareness and funds, a treatment was discovered for the auto immune disease that I have. I was able to receive treatment and have been in remission for 6 years! I am thrilled to now pay it forward and aid in the progress to find a treatment and cure for Cystic Fibrosis. I am excited for the journey ahead and the people I will meet,” said Purdee.
As a part of this recognition program of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, Megan is raising money in honor of Ada, a young girl in the Charlotte area. Ada suffers from cystic fibrosis and has to work hard each day taking handfuls of pills and spending hours on daily treatments to keep herself healthy.
